Just 75 miles (or about 2 hours) west of Denver and 20 miles (30 minutes) east of Vail, Copper Mountain is easily accessible from both Denver International Airport (DIA) and Eagle County Airport (EGE). Summer Dates and Hours of Operation 2017 Summer Season: June 9, 2017 – September 17, 2017 Downhill mountain biking begins early July, condition dependent Hours of American Eagle Lift Operations: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting Hours of operation for Village Activities: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Sunday-Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Saturday Current Conditions See the weather forecast See trail report High Altitude Precautions Wear sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat, even on cloudy days. That sun is strong! Wear proper clothing to protect skin in all conditions. Keep hydrated! Drink plenty of fluids - even more than usual. Listen to your body. Don't push yourself beyond your limits and if you develop symptoms (headache, nausea, shortness of breath), seek medical attention Elevations Summit: 12, 313 feet/3,767 meters Mid-mountain: 11,200 feet/3,414 meters Average Summer Temperature Day: 70 degrees F (21 degrees C) Average Rainfall 2 inches (5.08 centimeters) Lifts 1 total (1 high-speed quad)
